Tonight's Mount Pleasant versus Columbus/WMU soccer matches are at East Lake Park in Mount Pleasant. The girls' game has been moved up to a 4:15 start time, and the boys' game will follow at the conclusion of the girls' match. Admission is $6.

Tonight, April 3rd, is our first Columbus/WMU "home" soccer doubleheader against Mediapolis. The girls' match starts at 5 PM, and the boys' match follows at approximately 7 PM. The contest will be held at the Muscatine Soccer Complex on Field 2.
Facility Policies:
SPECTATORS:
Spectators must remain off grass areas that are marked. Keep lawn chairs, blankets, and spectators along the perimeter of the fields. All facility guests are expected to leave the premises within 30 minutes of the last scheduled activity.
PARKING:
Vehicles are not allowed inside the complex. Park in designated areas only. No parking on the grass or mulch areas.
ALCOHOL:
Alcohol is not allowed in the parking lot or inside the soccer complex.
TOBACCO:
Smoking and use of tobacco products or their like is prohibited.
BIKES, SKATEBOARDS, & SKATES:
Bikes, skateboards, and skates are not allowed inside the soccer complex.
TEAM BANNERS/SIGNS:
Teams must have approval before posting or hanging any objects within the complex.
PETS:
Pets are not allowed in the complex.
CONCESSIONS:
A concession stand is located at the main administrative building. Selling of any commodities is prohibited without prior approval from parks and recreation staff.
Reminder: Columbus After Prom Permission slips are due on Friday, 4/4.

At 3 PM, Columbus received notification that tonight's Wapello Coed Track meet has been canceled due to technical and weather-related issues.
Tonight's Columbus Golf meet at New London has been canceled. Dates for rescheduling the event are being considered.

Congratulations to Ariana Vergara, Ryan Coil, and Juan Chairez for being selected to the Southeast Iowa Senior All Star Game at Burlington, Notre Dame. On March 15th, the three Wildcats will represent Columbus on the Court. The girls' game starts at 5 pm, and the boys' game follows.
Congratulations to Lily Coil for being selected for the Iowa Girls Coaches Association's Larry Niemeyer Senior Game. The game will be held March 15th at 2:15 PM in the Cedar Falls High School Gymnasium.
Starting Monday March 10th, dirt work will start on the athletic field. Equipment will be entering and exiting through the pool parking lot. Please use caution when walking or driving on Springer Ave. After dirt work is complete, it is VERY important that there is no foot traffic on the athletic field as it will be seeded and going through the grow in process. We ask that pedestrians walking the track stay clear of the area highlighted in red to the west of the visitor’s side bleachers. Work is not expected to be complete until around the middle of May. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.
